Minor Leaguers:

Minor Leaguers is a supervised play area for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. While in our care your child will enjoy playing in our JV Gym, coloring, listening to music and playing with other children. Please bring any items that your child may need while visiting Minor Leaguers. For reservations call 920-7412.

Activities for Children Age 6-12:

Free to Members

Kids Cardio Jam:

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6 p.m.-6:45 p.m. - Join us in the Kids’ Gym for new cardio activities each week, including aerobics, track, core strengthening and coordination building!

Kids Club:

Monday & Wednesday, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. & Saturday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. - You’ll get to participate in a variety of activities! It’s a GREAT time.

Kids Sports Jam:

Join us in the Kids’ Gym every Tuesday & Thursday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. for a variety of sports activities including basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, floor hockey and more!

Friday night is open gym for families of all ages!

Teens:

Teenagers age 15 and older have full use of the facility. Teens ages 13 and 14 must successfully complete the Teen Strength program to have full access to the facility.

Teen Strength:

Teen Strength is a FREE program for teens ages 13 or 14 who desire access to fitness equipment and the facility. This program is also great for teens 15 and up. Teen Strength is a 1- to 11⁄2-hour session structured by a degreed and certified personal trainer. Each teen will learn how to properly use the cardio and strength machines in the club as well as basic anatomy, club etiquette and program design.

Upon successful completion, each teen will have full access to the entire facility. At the end of the session, each teen who successfully completes the objectives will be issued a certified teen strength card. They MUST carry the card while in the club. To ensure the safety of all members, teens may be asked to present their card to a fitness coach.

What else can children do while parents are working out?

Age 6-12:

Age 5 & Under:

Children 5 and under may do the above activities if accompanied by a parent.

Parents' Day Out

Parents can enjoy time to themselves while their kids play in the JV Gym, color, listen to music and much more!

Thursday & Friday: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Programs for Children:

Ballet
Do you have a child between the ages of four and nine who is always moving? Do they dance to music in your living room and kitchen? Then sign them up for beginning ballet at Westview Healthplex! Please join Tiehl Steiner, ballet instructor for several years and currently an elementary school teacher in Pike Township.
Kids Night Out
Ages 2-4: Your child will enjoy playing in the Kids’ Gym, listening to music, coloring and more!
Ages 5-12: They will enjoy playing a variety of games, swimming and more!
Karate
All students begin at a white belt level and will receive their belt at the second class. Uniforms are not necessary, however they are available through the instructor for $25.00. Students are promoted through the belt levels as they progress in their martial arts skills. Children will learn all of the Karate basics, discipline, self defense, flexibility training and self control.

Summer Day Camp:

Ages 6-12
Our camp goal and vision is to provide children with the ability to experience many different sports and activities while participating in social and non-competitive interaction in a highly personalized and comfortable environment. Activities include basketball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, racquetball, games, crafts, soccer, track, aerobics and more! Children must wear comfortable clothing & tennis shoes.
