Fitness University

What are Fitness University and Senior University? Fitness University and Senior University are small-group fitness sessions offered to new members to orient them on equipment and proper workout techniques to make workouts at Westview Healthplex Sports Club most effective.

How do Fitness University and Senior University work?

Participants enjoy three separate one-hour group sessions: Fitness University 101, 102 and 103 or Senior University 101, 102 and 103. Each group session is set up for four people, offering participants a small, personalized learning experience. By breaking the learning process into three appointments, participants have time to use a variety of machines and become well-acquainted with the proper exercise techniques to avoid injury and promote maximum benefits. Warm-up, cool-down and stretching are all essential components of Fitness University and Senior University.
